A dossier detailing explosive claims of sex abuse by paedophiles within Westminster has gone missing.
Given to Home Secretary Leon Brittan in 1983, the files allegedly exposed a vile network at Parliament and Whitehall.
But there is no record of any subsequent criminal inquiry and the Home Office yesterday admitted the dossier is either lost or destroyed.
Lord Brittan, 74, is now facing questions over his handling of the document and inconsistencies in his account of what he did with it.

BTW the majority of a Dossier on child sexual abuse in N Wales and the NW of England by VIPs, including Police and local Politicians, which was compiled. Has also vanished into the ether, what is left, is only the bare bones of another explosive document.

They had a House apparently where it all used to go on,,,,,euuuughhhh it reminds me of Cynthia Payne she used to entertain Ministers and Members of parliament so she said!!. I know its even worse when its children who are being abused,, but is it the pressure of high powered jobs that makes people go loopy and start devianting towards sexual insane fantasies and Erotica?. they dont seem to care how it hurts other people or that eventually they will lose the job along with their reputation!!. You hold people in good stead for some of the important jobs they do and then find out they are sexually sick individuals!!!!!!!!!.

The retired judge leading the Westminster child abuse inquiry kept allegations about a bishop out of a review of how the Church of England dealt with two paedophile priests because she “cared about the Church”,
So what totally experienced Politician, was put in charge of investigating, claims of abuse in Westminster in the 80s
non other than fresh faced youngster - William Hague.

Aah Cynthia Paine !, as far as I know she only ever entertained consenting adults, in a orderly maintained brothel, discreet & more importantly a safe place for the girls to entertain the errrr guests. Yes alright many were high flyers in society but at least they were not forcing their perversions on unwilling underage possibly drugged boys, which this other establishment appears to have done.
Yes i know it was sickening enough,,dirty ole lady!!. But at least it was consenting adults!!.

Maybe because there were other people involved in the same thing, committing the same crimes? And because they should be brought to justice to pay for their crimes?
OK so why aren't we concerning ourselves with that rather than a dead bloke who was involved in childrens homes reforms?

So at last Camerons contentious appointment of leading Establishment insider, The Mayor of the City of London Fiona Woolf to head investigation into Establishment figures involvement in crimes and cover ups of said crimes. looks like She has been outed
Abuse inquiry chief Fiona Woolf faces quiz over her links to Leon Brittan
The controversial chairman of the government's historic child abuse inquiry will be finally forced to admit her links to a key figure in the alleged Establishment cover-up this week.
For six weeks, Fiona Woolf has refused to reveal how well she knows Leon Brittan – accused of failing to act on a dossier about VIP paedophile rings – and whether or not she declared their friendship before she accepted her high-profile role.
It is thought the Home Office was unaware that she has lived in the same street as the former Home Secretary for a decade, was on a City conference board with him, and was a magistrate at the same court as his wife Diana for three years – until it was revealed by The Mail on Sunday.

Remember Cameron was warned about this before He announced her getting this position.
Will they finally give this important Position to an outsider, say a leading legal academic from outwith the South east ?
I wouldn't bet on it, too many Toffs up to their necks in this. At the time and ever since, trying keep it hushed up

Fiona Woolf defends links with Leon Brittan over child sex abuse inquiry
The head of the official inquiry into historic child sex abuse is facing calls for her resignation after she revealed details of dinner parties and other links with a Tory grandee at the centre of the scandal.
Fiona Woolf published details about her personal contact with Lord Brittan, who as Leon Brittan who was in charge of the Home Office in the 1980s.
It has been claimed that Lord Brittan was handed a file - now missing - in late 1983 which allegedly detailed child abuse at the highest levels of Westminster.
-------------------------
I think more to the point (at this time) is why She refused point blank to admit or give any details of links to Mr Brittan on numerous occassions until forced to by Select committee
This alone should forced her out of leading this Inquiry

An official Legal challenge has now been lodged, to Fiona Woolffs appointment to head the Inquiry
Conflict of Interest and the fact that She has No relevant knowledge in Child abuse or the legalities surrounding it

Fiona Woolf: Abuse victims call for inquiry head to quit
Victims' groups are expected to tell child abuse inquiry officials Fiona Woolf should step down as its head.
One victims' representative told the BBC he had "zero confidence" in the inquiry, which he said - in its current form - would be a "whitewash".
The first person appointed to lead the child abuse inquiry - Baroness Butler-Sloss - stepped down in July.
The Home Office said Mrs Woolf had shown a commitment to openness, and that it remained confident in her.
A meeting between victims' groups and inquiry officials will take place on Friday,
The largest group attending the meeting, the NSPCC, has declined to give explicit backing to Mrs Woolf.
It said the inquiry should be judged on its work rather than who leads it, but that it should get under way.
The inquiry, announced in July, will look at whether public bodies and other institutions did enough to protect children from sexual abuse, from 1970 to the present day.
Mrs Woolf, the Lord Mayor of London, has also faced questions about her links with Lord Brittan, who was home secretary in the 1980s.

Fiona Woolf letter went through seven re-writes and 'amended' details of her link with Leon Brittan
The head of the official inquiry into historic child sex abuse re-wrote a letter to Theresa May, the Home Secretary, to play down her links with a Tory grandee at the centre of the scandal, it has emerged.
Fiona Woolf has faced calls to resign over her personal contact with Lord Brittan, who as Leon Brittan who was in charge of the Home Office in the 1980s.
Now it has been disclosed that a formal letter between Mrs Woolf and Mrs May was re-written seven times, with Home Office assistance.
Keith Vaz MP, the chairman of the Commons home affairs select committee, said the re-writes "gave a sense of greater detachment between Lord and Lady Brittan and Mrs Woolf".
Even facts about Mrs Woolf's contact with Lord and Lady Brittan appeared to have been "amended", he added.
'No smoke without fire' doesn't even come close, they have been trying to keep a lid on several different abuse crimes, since the 80s and the Establishment are still trying to keep it's dirty secrets under Ermine wraps

Anyone see Osbornes interview on this subject, yesterday
"We need to get to the bottom of what happened to these Kids"
No we don't
We all agree what happened to these Kids, what we want now is to find out is who in the Establishment were involved in these abuses and who in the Establishment have been destroying evidence and hampering or blocking anybody looking into these abuses ever since.
