Do you remember your first sale?

This podcast got me thinking. What got you started selling on eBay and what was your first sale? Thinking back I honestly cannot remember.

Remember it well. 2002, and in need of a bit of cash, I sold an old "pyramid" type telephone that I'd inherited when my Dad passed away, a couple of years earlier. Started the auction at 99p, and was astonished to see it sell for over £400. 20 years on, and despite various ups and downs, still here 🙂

First item was a President Jackson SSB  CB Radio  in 2002, best items i ver bought and sold was a specialised  welding machine  and also a Panasonic Boroscope which i got for free from my work .

My first sale over 20 years ago was "bought" by some chap in America but he never paid for it!!!

The first item I sold on Ebay was an Aladdin steelbook. The experience was one of joy and I was very excited at having seen a scale – sorry - sale all the way through to the end.
