Even though he (Cliff) has not been arrested, he has already hired a well known lawer and flown him out to his villa in Portugal for a consultation meeting. So sir Cliff is already arming him self for the eventuality. Of course it is at his own expense as he has the resources. Only the best will do for sir cliff.

From what I can gather the lawer he has hired is top notch and the courts tremble at his name as he has a reputation for getting a case won or thrown out. Anyay it would interesting to see if anything comes of it, whatever it might be.

On of the reasons he wanted the Lawer was to get the Police for telling the BBC about the raid on his house.. and not telling him... as he heard it on the news..

I think you forget that over a range of similar cases, a substantial number where claiming lesser offences, and consequently the figures would be even lower for any potential claim. Odd if money was the aim

The same lawyer defended Max Clifford, so any outcome is not a foregone conclusion.
