I believe that traders from countries that participate in the offensive practice of eating cat and dog meat by first torturing the animals, boiling them alive and electrocuting them before skinning them whilst still alive should not be allowed to trade on ebay as it sends a message that the West that we will not tolerate this kind of barbaric behaviour. If we allow them to trade we are condoning their actions.

I entirely support your concerns, your hopes and your sympathy for those poor animals!!! Sadly, it just will not work. No matter what you do, and no matter how many of you do it, the Koreans will not notice at all. To have any hope of success, official national embargos would be required, and even then it would be a tight struggle.
If a few people boycot the Koreans, they won't notice at all. And, if they miraculeously do notice, they won't understand why. This is one of their natiional cultural things and, as disgusting as it is (and it is filthy!) changing something on that level is a massive task.
South Korea may be even stranger than we imagine. Watch the movie Volcano High. Read P.J. O'Rourke's description of his travels there, and so on. Weird, weird, weird, and even weirder....

Hi, That reply would be to the OP' singingsuzie I would think?
Yes your right if a few people boycott the Koreans, they wont notice at all. But like me, and some others who do, it is at least something. Haven't, and never will buy anything from China who most know also have NO animal welfare at all.
And with all of this we hear the comment ''BEHAVE LIKE ANIMALS'' over and over and over again. Yes anything foul and disgusting and evil and cruel it's behaving like animals! When it's like HUMANS!!!
#28 I thought that

Do you mean you have never bought direct from China... or you have never bought anything made in China?
