I wonder if it belongs to the bloke who got bail for setting fire to the Dog's home.

Remarcable coincidence anyway.

Well if it is divine retribution, there won't be much sympathy meted out.

Don't tell me we've got the "Ku Klux Klan" to add to everything else........although they're probably classed as moderates these days.

 Well it wasn't him.

Anyway... after hearing that 'Coronation Street' actor Jack P Shepherd had made a grovelling apology after a Twitter backlash to his jokes about the fire in Manchester Dogs Home, in which more than 50 animals were killed.

The  popular actor, who plays David Platt in the soap, wrote a series of tweets following news of the tragedy on Thursday, kicking off with, '' I have million 'hot dog' jokes.''  (yes, at the appropriate time you vile idiot!)

Several of his 296,000  Twitter followers didn't see the funny side,  and he followed  this with, ''You guys need to lighten up.

# Get It Lighten Up.''

This called even more outrage, with several death threats.  With some fans even suggesting it was time to boycott 'Coronation Street', according to the Manchester Evening News.  I agree.

David Platt in the soap. Such a kind sweet face?

Time for my favourite old Dog poem.................in memory of the lost ones.

He asks me no questions

He tells me no lies

and when I address Him

Looks straight in my Eyes

Content with a little

He never despairs

But in all my troubles

He willingly shares

He asks for so little

Yet gives me so much

So always let sympathy

Dwell in my touch
