Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

Notices that body still draped over the one armed bandit. bell dangling from his hand, and is it any wonder... his last post was at 3.21am 😮

Pops over to coffee machine, makes wonderful Latte, notices Bill has left some freshly cooked bacon and homemade bread, makes bacon butty:-D.  Sits down then notices juke box, pops money in and selects Brahms Lullaby so as not to wake sleeping beauty.:^O

Almost time for work, so tidies up plate and cup, Bill can wash them later ]:)

It's a lovely grey windy morning here in Manchester.

I'm going to have to do a lot of cleaning today, so won't be around much...except to get a coffee so now and then....and to make sure my mule is not getting stoned. B-)

The bread you nicked was for Harry's mule and she is now gunning for you. (Well she ain't but will be when I accidentally let it slip!). :^O

BTW. Can you have a word with your superiors about the sandwiches Morrisons sell? I bought a pack of prawn & mayonaise the other day and it took an age to find a @@@@@@@ way to open it! X-(

In the end I stabbed it with a pen! Do something please! :^O
