I am bidding on a few items from the same seller. Now, I have had no problems with the seller in the past, but I went in today to see how my bids were doing and noticed one of them had lost a bid. It turns out the bidder had retracted a bid. No big deal you say, but the bidders info states that he uses this seller for 33% of his bids and that he has retracted bids 23 times in the last 6 months and 45 over all. I have had a look through the sellers other items and this bidder has retracted several bids he had put in on current items. Can Ebay deal with bidders who are putting in multiple retractions.?

:-)do you think the seller is bidding on his own stuff

Not sure, but it seems strange behaviour. I usually bid in a small corner of the Ebay world so I get to recognise the identities of the regular bidders. I have never come across another bidder who has retracted so much stuff. Once in a blue moon you will find a bidder has one, maybe two retractions against hi name, but 45, someone is having a laugh.

Can eBay deal with it? Yes of course/.
Will they deal with it - fat chance!
I've reported a bidder on items I was going to bid on, who runs up anything up to 60 bids on one item at a time. Checking their history showed over 450 bid retractions in 6 months - now up to nearly 480!!!
