Bid retractions.

When buying I always have a quick look at what little eBay allow you to see these days, of members buying and selling activities/profiles.

Today I spotted this summary fom a very busy buyer.

30-Day Summary
Total bids:    1968
Items bid on:    1637
Bid activity (%) with this seller:    0%    Help
Bid retractions:    52
Bid retractions (6 months):    727

Now the buyer may be dyslexic, or have a dodgy keyboard, and has to correct a lot of errors, but that seems a bit strong to me!

Do eBay have any checks in place to spot this, or is it open season to do as you please?

Bid retractions.

Dling, you're on the wrong board for this sort of discussion really.

Try seller central, here - > http://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Seller-Central/bd-p/27

But, to answer your qus briefly, yes that looks like a lot of bid retractions and yes it pretty much is open season for buyers, who must not be put off shopping here at any cost.  (Well, cost to eBay that is. hmmmmm)

Thanks for reply.

Where have all the vigilantes gone?

The place was full of them years ago, queuing up to press the report button, and have drunken fights on a Friday night.

I might phone a friend next time I sell an item!!Smiley Surprised Smiley Wink
