Jock Scot, yesterday of cancer aged 63.

Full story in the Telegraph obits, some may find it a good read, when he met Paul Simon the latter held out his hand Scot shook it and said " Hello darkness my old friend". RIP

Just heard Victoria Wood has died. A very talented and genuinely funny lady, will be sadly missed.

Obviously a fairly private person, I didn't even know she had cancer.  A shame, she came across as a likable person and certainly a talented one and 62 is still getting short changed; in my opinion.

There seem to be a lot of celebs that have gone this year, unless we are more aware of them because many are close to the average age on here.

Gosh we have certainly all been reminded of our mortality this year. Another amazingly versatile artiste gone at a relatively young age, so tragic.
