Update your listings to earn a Premium badge!

I just received the message in the title of this post, it goes on to detail things I am not doing that could potentially earn me the Premium Badge. However, I do already and always have had all those things active/enabled. Is this a technical glitch or am I missing something?

Just got that myself, and I just posted about it. Spoke to eBay CS and was told it could be a glitch.

I saw that too. Mine qualify but the email suggests they don't.

Taking a glance at yours though, I don't know how they do qualify with 2 day dispatch and RM Tracked 48? I thought it had to be 1 day dispatch for the badge on that and if you were using RM 2nd Class it had to be same day dispatch.

I am the same too , got the email this morning and every other month. Pretty sure I have everything to qualify but keep getting the same message as above . Has to be a glitch on ebay end but i'm having so many account issues this is just another to add to the list ,complete joke

Hi, thanks for the reply.
It doesn't mention dispatch times, just delivery times. I have to allow at least one day to dispatch because they are personalised items. It would be impossible to dispatch most items the same day, unless all my orders came in the morning. So even if I offered guaranteed next day dispatch, there is no delivery service (other than Special Delivery) that guarantees next day delivery (taking it to three days).
It seems like an unreasonable request, maybe I don't understand it properly.

It's worth double checking the seller level page at it says at the bottom how many do qualify and you can cross check that number against active listings. The email can be ignored if that lines up.

Unless it has changed the dispatch times are crucial to the badge. As far as I understood it, 2 day dispatch meant you had to offer Tracked24 or the equivalent next day service as the freepost option.

Thanks, I do offer those services at checkout at an extra cost but my default is T48, I will have to look into it further.

It's probably impossible for you to make the premium badge viable with 2 day dispatch. I was thinking maybe you could do 1st class untracked with 2 day dispatch but that will cost you more than Tracked48 on the large letters and you won't claw it back with the 10% discount on the eBay fees. The discount really is a pittance, many have just given up on trying to achieve it.

It says the following... As a Top Rated Seller, you get a badge on your listings when you offer delivery services that support tracking on items that cost more than £20, a free delivery option that delivers within 3 days, an express delivery option that delivers within 2 days and costs no more than £10, and a 30-day return policy.

And then also says 0 of my listings qulaify for benefits.

I have just changed my dispatch to one working day instead of two, I will see if that changes anything. Other than that I am doing everything else it says I have to do.

You should be good with 1 day dispatch now. It's just whether the stress is worth it as you have to avoid those defects for late posting 👍

You could offer same day dispatch with a cut off time very early in the morning mine is set for 8.30 in the morning. I have been tweaking my postage options latley but had the badge previously, So i know that works.

Just to give you an example I picked one of my £10 sales and the eBay fee discount was 11p. It's worth taking if the dispatch time is achievable why not but if it becomes a headache, then you can always go back to 2 day dispatch:
