I tried to send a message to you but it said "i have reached the maximum amount of private messages" for some reason.
This is in relation to the weekly chat and not being able to send messages to buyers.
Here is one in relation to item 156028872094
her is another relation to item 155001741647
both of these are previous customers who we have exchanged messages with in the past. However these the most recent attempts to message them it comes up the error i mentioned on the chat.

The team was able to replicate this issue, and it is currently working on it to get it resolved.

I just wanted to let you know that there has been improvements around this issue, but is not fully resolved as of yet. This basically means that you might be seeing the error in question, but not as often. Once they confirm this is fully resolved, I will let you know.

i am also getting exactly the same error when trying to message a seller that i have previously contacted when i click contact seller the previous messages all show in the thread but when i type a new message and hit send all i get is "message error not sent"

Sorry on the delay on this, but I hadn't seen it until now. I was checking there, and apparently the intermittent issues we are experiencing might be impacting this as well, but I do realize that this has happened before, so I'll double check with them to see if there is anything we could do at the moment.

marco@ebay any update on this issue? we have just lost a £68 order due to not being able to message the buyer. Even sending an email to them using the Ebay email address did not work.

No, no updates really. I'll just go ahead and report it the same way we did last time, and that should do the trick, once I know more after reporting it, I'll let you know.
They always ask me for examples, so could you please share 1 or 2 items numbers that I could give them to replicate the issue, so this can be reviewed?
