Hi all, anyone else has this issue?
I swapped from a personal account to a business account. I’m now a sole trader (UK). I had already entered my national insurance number as a personal account holder and got the standard red banner ‘update account details to remain compliant’ etc..
Each time I click the banner and enter my NI it asks me to enter it again. Over the past few weeks I must have phoned eBay every day, going through every fox under the sun. I tried using desktop site, then the phone, cleared the cache, said I didn’t have an NI number, entered it again, spoke to the payment team - no issues their end as they can see the NI number under my personal information. In the end I was left with we will submit this as a tech glitch and it’ll be cleared with 48hours.
And nothing. Is it just me? Am I stuck in some eBay glitch for ever? I don’t like seeing the threatening red banner every day and I don’t have it in me to listen to the hold music again!

Thank you for your post.
I'm currently following up the last tech ticket that was opened for this issue on your account. Confirming the national insurance number on accounts shouldn't be taking this length of time or the red banner remaining.
I will let you know once I get a further update.

Thank you Kat. I did speak with the pay team and they said they had no issues, the NI number is on the account. I’m sure you can see all the discussions to date. I was told it’s definitely an issue eBay end by the last agent, had hoped it would be sorted and cleared off by now.
