Hi there,

Can anyone help please, I'm having a huge amount of trouble connecting to and staying connected to ebay to process my orders, I keep getting the message "The connection for this site is not secure" ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR, ive tried Edge and chrome both are the same with ebay but not anyother site that I uses.

Anyone else had this problem, I've tried following some Youtube videos, clear browser history, clear chache, clear SSL Sate to no avail, its have a massive impact on productivity it only started a few days ago but is getting worse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The basic things to check would be your system date & time is accurate, and the site sectigo.com is accessible.   If you are using a VPN or other clever network protection then, briefly disable and check the problem persists.

I'd also check if you have had any system or browser updates recently which are still pending a restart (browser help->about, settings -> system updates -> history)

Beyond that there may be additional clues in the error diagnostics or in the event log.

Also, if you do a search on the error code I think there are videos covering more reset/diagnositics for Chrome, not sure about Edge though.

I am having the same issue in both windows and iOS. Can't seem to find any info on though....

Hi, 

I have tried following some youtube videos which all seem to follow a similar theme, but to no avail.

I will just have to persevere in the hope it goes away.
