I am also experiencing this, as a long term and regular user of eBay it's really frustrating! I haven't been able to use the eBay app for a couple of days now and can't find anything to confirm whether there is an issue or not. Have tried deleting the cache, reboot phone, etc. I have an android phone which I'm using, app has worked fine until now with no issues.
Is this an eBay issue? When will this be resolved? Thanks.

Hi All,
Thank you for your posts.
Check to see you have the latest app version as there has been recent updates.
Android version 6.251.0.1 and works with android system 12 and up
IOS version 6.251.0 and works with IOS 18 or later
Steps to try and resolve would be deleting recent app cache and app data, uninstalling/reinstalling the app and restarting the device used to access it.
If the issue still persists after this can you check to see if you can report it through the app by shaking your phone while in it. A pop up " report a technical problem " will appear. This is the quickest way to get an app issue reported.
Thank you,
Kat

Exactly the same here. There's been an error message for 2 days!

Same here! I had to "clear storage" to get the app to work again...seems like the people at eBay don't know how to release updates properly (or couldn't be bothered!)
In case you don't know you can find this in Android under "Settings / Apps / eBay", then select "Storage", then click "Clear Storage"
If you had some/all notifications switched off, you'll need to go back to your settings and uncheck the marketing noise options

Yeah, I had this problem on the app for three days. I assumed it was a general fault, but it never corrected itself. I went into my android phone settings, found the ebay app and had to clear both the storage and cache. Clearing the cache alone did nothing. That let me log in again and all is fine now. As others have said, some users chose to simply uninstall and install again.
