My ebay has not worked properly for the last 2 weeks - dismal sales, no feedback, I spoke with customer services, and they have no answers - not good enough

I think that matter of ' eBay not working'  and  ' low sales'  are two very different matters.  The OP has not explained what issue they are facing so hard to give them any answer.

You have 500 current listings so your eBay is working it's up and running but for low sales,  many are experiencing this,  and CS would not have a concrete answer as to why because there is none.

However, one thing I can add, you are up against the biggest sellers on eBay for example,  I looked at your listing for ' Creed album Weathered ' ,  you have it for £6.25,   but MM is selling it for £4.99, no other ' Creed album' is selling for less , so buyers usually using Best Match >> Lowest Price and faced with many identical items will usually choose the cheapest.  

You are in a very competitive market, and peeps with tightening money belts , will always buy the best priced item.

Hi Tressygirl.  I appreciate your reply.  I have been selling CD's , and other items for very many years, and have always been up against MM,  but I am competitve with many of my listings, and always offer free postage.

The last 2 weeks in particular have been totally dismal, and even CS can't understand why

All I can add to that, is that you are not alone in saying that the last few weeks in particular,  have seen very low sales.

No one has come up with any real answer and I doubt CS would know, although there have been many site issues,  perhaps peeps just cannot get onto the site with ease ?

Who knows,  it's a $64,000 question.

Im having the same problem,app is not working at all ,got 9n with  the browser to the home page ,but won't load watch list ect,saying server is not available

The app is having issues,  if using, try this....

Delete recent cache and data > settings on phone>apps>storage>clear data/clear cache.   Check and make sure you have updated the latest app version.  It requires android 12 and up.

Check you have the correct version and operating system.

There are fewer issues on a desktop browser,  if you can,  switch to a laptop / PC, clear cache and cookies,  and try Chrome that seems to work well with eBay.  See if this helps.
