Hi, I seem to be having issues in listing items   Is there currently technical issues as I have not had this problem before?

I thought I was the only one having problems.

I listed a few items earlier this morning with no problem. Then, from 11.00 onwards, everytime I click List, the page would just revert to to the page where I entered all the info on and didn't actually list the item in question.

I tried bulk selling similar from from my unsold listings, but that just came up as "System Error" when trying to list.

Tried another account, and listed on there as usual with no error warnings.

Anyone know what's going on?

I've also noticed that my Auto-Relist auction items are not being Auto Relisted, but are going into Drafts.

Yes that was exactly the same as what I was experiencing!

Automatic auto relists for auctions now only apply to new sellers and ad hoc / infrequent sellers.  Everyone else needs to relist the items manually.

There does seem to be a technical issue for listing items currently,  as many reports are coming through about this.

Let's hope it's fixed soon!

My auto-relist items have been re-listing up to eight times with no problem until this morning's glitch.

This was the announcement below,  made in January this year, maybe the system has just caught up with you, although there are technical listing issues going on this may be impacting you account?

As of January 2026, automatic relisting for auctions is primarily geared towards new and occasional sellers. 

 eBay UK

Here are the key details:

• Who gets it: New members, casual, and occasional sellers. Who does not: Regular or high-volume sellers often do not have this option and must relist auctions manually.

OK first time poster to forums, so here goes...

I had this same issue earlier today. Made three listings for bundles of vinyl LPs I'm selling. They sat in my "Drafts" until I had completed grading, pricing and adding photos etc. But when I tried to list and shift from Draft to Active, there appeared to be some sort of eBay issue. Both my PC and the phone app could not get them listed and live. Tried it off & on over the afternoon and early evening, without getting any joy. An hour or so ago, I created a further listing for a record I had beside me and it worked OK. Whatever bug was running around eBay today was cleared. BUT the Drafts > Active issue was still the same. So I tried the following process to clear them. (1) in my Drafts folder, I created a copy of a listing including photos and all product info. (2) then I as able to make the 2nd copy list and become Active (3) then deleted the old Draft listing as there was obvs something buggy in the listing that eBay couldn't solve or fix (4) repeated steps 1-3 for the other Draft listings I had pending that wouldn't list.

Not sure if this helps folks, but thought I should post it here in case its of use to someone.

Hi All,

Thank you for your posts.

The issue with listing items was escalated with tech yesterday and it has been resolved. Listings are going live. If the issue still persists with draft listings from yesterday then a new listing will need to be created.
