Item delivered but ebay not updating

I've sold an item on Ebay and went to the post office to buy postage and send it. Received the tracking number and uploaded it onto Ebay and then marked the item as dispatched. There's been no further updates on ebay but the tracking via Royal mail says its been delivered with photo proof and a signature. The seller has even confirmed they have received it. So I'm pretty stuck on what to do as it looks like I can't do anything and my funds will be on hold until it's been marked as delivered, in which ebay isn't updating. 

 

Has anybody else encountered this problem and found a solution? Is there even a solution?

Unfortunately it can take eBay's tracking upto 48hrs to catch up with the couriers tracking.

I'm showing items delivered over the last 3 days on Royal Mail, but not on eBay? I usually rely on this to leave feedback to the buyer...

YES it all started from 11th January 2025. I have 5 items, all sent Royal Mail Tracked 24 Signed For including one to the Ebay GSP Hub. All are confirmed delivered by Royal Mail and feed back received. I know they ahve all been delivered, sent 12th Jan, delivered 14th and 15th Jan, but no Ebay Delivery updates at all.  Maybe its an Ebay Royal Mail integration issue re deliveries being logged with Ebays system? I just being generous here. At the moment there are aquite a few glitches all started from 11th Jan. One inparticular is the ability to edit a buyers already bidded price! All issues have been reported to Ebay. I am hoping some action will be taken promptly. Whilst teh other things are significant, I can wait for them to be corrected, but its pretty fundamental going forward from 4th Feb that private sellers get paid ontime, even if its after delivery. So confirming tracked deliveries is key Ebay. Im hoping it gets sorted out quickly or many will just nolonger bother with Ebay anymore.

I have exactly the same thing happening with my packages that I have sent off.

I expect it’s eBay’s way of making even more money out of our funds while we have to wait even longer for them to mark them as delivered!

Like you, I have checked the Royal Mail app to find that they have been delivered, but still no sign of eBay marking them as delivered days later!

It appears to be just another of eBay’s ways to punish us private sellers that were the people that made them get so HUGE in the first place.

They seem to be concentrating all of their efforts on business sellers instead these days.

I have to promote everything if I want to stand a fighting chance of selling it, even then, I don’t get hardly any views and watchers compared to the business sellers, and that’s even though I often sell stuff cheaper, and better condition than what they are selling. And yes, I have got 100% feedback, and lots of it!

PLEASE EBAY, DON’T BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS!

eBay are aware of the problem and are working to sort it out.

I've had the problem a lot and it's never updated, luckily customers have been honest but definitely not looking forward to changes in February, looking for somewhere else to sell.
