Havent receiced my refund

i bought this item and was refunded instantly, but my money hasn't reflected back into my account ever since, what could be the problem

Refunds return to source and can take a while, around 7 days to return to bank, longer for some credit cards.

To add to the good answer given  the message eBay usually send... We've issued your refund .  You should receive it within 3 - 5 working days is a tad umm, optimistic and  not correct!

Once eBay notify you the refund is made,  being processed,  then it's not instantly returned to you,  and does go back to original payment source.

If you paid with PayPal it goes back to your PayPal account fairly swiftly.

Paying with a debit / bank card?  Can take up to 12 days to appear back in your bank account.

Credit card payment?  This takes the longest,  up to 30 days to appear back in the card account used.
