Hello
I have never encountered this problem before.
When I try to use the contact eBay system where it opens up the box to chat I cannot type anything at all.
It shows my previous message history but I cannot type anything at all to access either the bot or a eBay representative.
I have tried clearing the cookies to the browser used a different device and every time it’s the same please see the screenshot.
It’s greyed out. I can’t type anything. It’s driving me crazy. How do I resolve this? Is it a technical issue.

Request them to call you its much easier
I hate those chat bots absolute hate them as they only tell you what you already know

Can’t even request call back literally doesn’t let me select or type anything

👿🙄What is it you want help with as posters on here know a lot more than the stupid piece of metal or some customer services people

Ideally I want to be able to have access to the chat in case I need it. But this particular issue is around an item I sold and I was meant to receive £495 but the available balance was only around £485 and no idea why it’s £10 short. There were no other charges or refunds that may have reduced the available balance

Hi funky_alchemist, thanks for your post.
If you are not able to contact support, I'd suggest clearing the caches and cookies of your browser or refresh the page, and that should fix it as there are no reports suggesting this would be a technical error. However, your payments/transactions breakdown is all displayed in your eBay account, so you wouldn't need to contact support for this one if you don't want to. I've just checked for you and I can see it there, and it looks correct. For privacy and security reasons, I wouldn't be able to provide a detailed explanation here, but once you go to your payments section, you will see it there no problem.
Thank you,
Marco

I suggest looking through the various tabs here, to see if you can find anything about the £10:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/mes/transactionlist?sh=trueSeller Hub | All transactions | eBay
Please let us know if you find anything - it can help others in future.

That looks like the eBay app rather than a browser. Is your app set to open eBay browser links automatically? You may need to disable that to use a browser instead of the app.
Any difference if you use a different browser entirely? Preferably the latest desktop version of a popular browser with default settings and no add-ons installed. Or if you use a private or incognito browser window?
