Buying: Item Location set to UK Only but listings from outside the UK showing

Hello,

When I set my Item Location to be “UK Only”, I am still seeing listings from multiple different countries outside of the UK.

I have double checked and my location is set to UK and the item location is indeed set to UK Only.

I am using the app on my phone. When using eBay through the web on my phone, it works perfectly normal. Others that I know who use eBay aren’t having this issue at all, so it seems to be an issue with my app.

(eBay support advised they’d need the link to the search listing but because it’s through the app I’m unable to send this to them, so they couldn’t help).

Is anyone else having this issue or had it previously? And does anyone know a fix?

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but no change.

Hello, I have just had a look at a  few of your listings on Ebay from my desktop and the few that I looked at were all showing shipping to the UK only.

Incidently I have also been having problems today restricting countries from my postage policies; I did manage to do it in the end through trial and error on the desktop.

The issue isn’t with my listings, but when I search for other listings (acting as a buyer). Those listings have a mixture of UK, US and other countries, even when my filters are set to “UK only”.

The way I understand the searching to work is items earlier in the list order are closest to the words, terms and conditions I have chosen while further down the matching gets less strict.

On the App I see a line of text part way through which says "## items from eBay international sellers" to indicate that the following items will all be outside my UK Only option.

An alternative way to search might be to set a price limit and then sort by distance plus add an upper bound of 500 miles - still knowing that eBay will continue to try to offer something to purchase however far it would be from the ideal.

Presumably, from eBay's point of view they would rather offer something than nothing even if it is further away than I might like ideally.

I'm seeing exactly the same issue. 

Saved searches which have been fine for months & years with the "UK Only" filter are suddenly in the last few days behaving as though there are no UK matches, then showing worldwide results, but still actually including the items from the UK.

See attached screenshots of three examples.

I've also tried clearing app cache, then all app data, then uninstalled & reinstalled form the Play store but it's still borked no matter what I do on my side.

I have also been having the same problems for the last few days, it's weird as it's not been affecting all of my searches. 

I have just deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it and this seems to have sorted it at the moment, might be worth a try

Same here, utter rubbish in results without warning. Filtering by uk does not give any result at all, also result matching is poor - had something in watch list and it never came on searches
