Mike

The other day we was talking about diclofenics and you mentioned that they are the only thing that really helps you. I told my dad that and he wanted to give them a try. He said hes had them before and was fine with them, he took a strip of mine home and within a few hours of taking 1 his pain in the knees was going down, the swelling had also started to go down quite quickly. By the next day he was able to bend his leg at the knee, something hes not been able to do for months! he was so much happier in himself and could even walk to my house(which is only about 8 doors away). Well hes had the results of his INR are its gone up to 8 and the doctors are refusing to give him any on perscription and i cant risk giving him any because i would feel to guilty if anything happened. What i wanted to ask you is are you on warferine as well? im sure i read that you are but i mihgt be just getting confused. He ran out last night and i nearly cried seeing him today, he can hardly walk again and every step hes wincing:-( I think there is some cream that contains diclofenic so im going to buy some of that for him tomorrow to rub in and hopefully that will help a little bit. The doctors that my mum and dad go to are really bad and im just wondering if its them being awkward and not letting him have them or wheather he really shouldnt be having them. I know when i had my hysterectomy i was on both but it was only for a few days.

Sorry for waffling on but i thought i best explain it as best i can:-)

Re: Mike

OH's laptop is Acer and *touchwood* is fine. It's about 4 years old now.

Re: Mike

The older Acers were OK Anne; it's just the latest ones I think that are a bit more unreliable. There was someone on the Techi board who bought a new Acer and it developed a red bar down one side of the screen after a few days; that sounded like a screen or hardware fault. Wouldn't expect a fault that soon.

Re: Mike

definitely not Marko, no way microsoft would ask you to do that in my opinion, its like these indians ringing up and telling you youve got a dogy copy of windowws and that, they just dont do it.

Re: Mike

I dont think theres anything that would ask to re enter a password though email, i know i would never do it anyway. Lucky you had the sense not to open it though:-)

Re: Mike

Sorry Marco; missed your post. No you shouldn't have to enter passwords from an email. I keep getting those scam ones from Youtube too. Just delete them.

However I would keep well away from Hotmail anyway as they are the most scammed of all the free email accounts. You would be much better and safer switching to Gmail instead.

Re: Mike

I've had a hotmail account for many years and apart from the odd young lady who mistakeny thinks I'm one of her FB friends I dont get much in the way of spam.  I'm the same with IE, I've always used it and except when my son infected me with an attachment he sent I've not had any bad experience with virus or malware.  I use bulldog on this computer and also run malware bytes occasionally.

My usual emailscome through virgin but I keep the hotmail because virgin seem to go down every time I'm away from home working for some reason

Re: Mike

Only thing to try is to delete all cache, cookies and Temporary Internet Files and try again. You may have to log in again to some of your other sites though. I don't use MSN myself so can't really suggest anything else.

I would Google 'can't open MSN email accounts' and see what you can find. There's bound to be someone else with the same problem. Also try the MSN Help pages. 🙂
