scam sellers posting photo of PlayStation 5

How can people post photos of consoles for sale instead of the actual item. This is obviously to trick and scam people how is this allowed.

Thanks, I have sent a new message to PayPal, hopefully they see my appeal and act upon it. Action fraud will be next move then if PayPal don’t help me. I have spoken to someone from eBay, and although they are behind me as I opened a case via PayPal their hands are tied apparently?!

Sadly I did the stupid thing of opening up a PayPal case shortly after purchasing, and before I received the photo (I have it now). PayPal closed case in their favour, so I’m pretty stuck and short of £500 🙁

That’s dreadful I would email seller tell them your reporting them for fraud. But make sure eBay know. Talk to Action Fraud they are briliant. Or then your bank that paid out from your account. Good luck

badger2963 They are selling a copyright photo of something they are not allowed to. Ebay have no choice but to uphold your complaint this is the law. If they dont comply then report it to Action Fraud and they will take it up for you and give you advice. I have won a case of a photo thing before so please do it.
