question about multiple items for auction

Hello,

I have a number of the same item i wish to sell.

I would like to sell them on a auction format as I believe this is the only way to find the correct value.

I would rather not do a buy it now as I may undersell or not sell at all if I state the value.

the items are exactly the same with no option of differential ( say colours/style etc)

If you want to use auction format you'd have to list them all together as one lot.   If you want to give buyers the option of how many they buy you'd have to use Buy It Now only without auction.
