I sold something that was damaged during delivery. The buyer has agreed to a partial refund, enough to buy the replacement part. I found a way to do that, I offered it and nothing happened. Now I can't find that page again. I can't find anything, not even my offer. Buyer has now opened up a case with ebay for a full refund,but ebay aren't talking to me. Can someone help please. ... Hi everybody.   I've been using ebay and paypal for over 16 years with zero problems. Until today.   As usual I woke up this morning to find I'd sold an item. It was showing as paid in ebay and as usual the message "paid dispatch now" was showing. Everything was looking normal. Another successful transaction... or so I thought.   To my surprise when I checked my paypal balance I saw £0.00. Completely mystified about this I waited an hour. Still £0.00. Another three hours later and my paypal balance was still £0.00. This is when I found this community and started looking for answers.   Literally while I was writing this message I sold a second item via paypal so I checked my paypal balance (expecting to see £0.00) but NO - the payment for the second sale went through 100% with no problems. So... the money for the second sale is in but the money for the FIRST sale is still nowhere to be seen.   For the first sale:     - there is nothing showing in my paypal activity.   - there is nothing showing in my paypal summary.   - there is nothing pending.   - my e-mail address in ebay and paypal match.   - I've changed no settings in ebay or paypal for years.     The second sale is showing in my paypal activity and summary but it's as if my first sale has disappeared into oblivion but on ebay it's STILL telling me "paid dispatch now".   This is a total enigma. I can't simply cancel the first sale because then I'll have to pay a £25 refund (when I haven't been paid anything) and I'll be in minus figures as opposed to drawing even.   Does anybody have any clue what's going on? ... Hi,   A buyer recently raised a dispute via Ebay for an item he had purchased.  He stated the item was faulty, which it wasn't.  He opened a case with Ebay. After sending a few emails the buyer agreed via message to keep the item, stating he had sorted it and  case closed. I let Ebay know this but in there wisdom still found in the buyers favour and stated I had to accept a return?? Now the funds have been left pending on my Paypal account leaving it in a negative balance.  It is over 2 weeks since I was told to accept a return.  I have heard different advice i.e. if I contact Ebay they will just refund the buyer or leave it and they will automatically close the case.   I have refunds on my paypal account that I can not access, very frustrating.   Any advice welcome. Hi All, Hope all well. I went to revise one or two listings and found that when the revise page opened the font or typeface is pretty faint. It's not too bad on the bold type, although the boldness isn't that bold, it is pretty faint where you can change things. I can hardly see it on my PC monitor. Is this a Windows 10 problem or an ebay website problem? This is the only web page where I've encountered this faint type. Can it be resolved?  Thanks for any info, help or ideas ... View more

Hi, There are so many fundamental issues with the tools that we are provided with on EBay. We pay a very high price for the use of the platform and yet some very simple additions would make it far easier and more importantly quicker to work on the Ebay platform. A few examples: 1). I sell personalised items and it would make it much easier for my buyers to enter the details when they checkout. Instead they have to send a message after the purchase. For many buyers this is too complicated, and they need multiple emails to instruct them how to provide the details. 2). Why has Ebay never placed a "Show me all messages from this buyer" against an order from a buyer. It seems such an obvious need for us sellers. 3). Inventory management - You encourage us to sell on multiples to prevent duplicate listings for similar items and yet the Inventory management for multiple items on a listing is none existent. 4). The policy for returns stinks. Again I make personalised items. I am happy to receive back an item if its damaged or the quality is poor. However I am unable to state this policy as policy message are suppressed. I can only say If I accept returns or not. We are all part of the distance selling regulations so have to accept returns but you are allowed to state exceptions. Except eBay don't allow us to make any such comments that are visible to the buyer. 5). Restocking - Items that have multiple variations are almost impossible to track when they go to zero stock. You have to go through each listing and identify zero quantity line items. Most of my listings are multiples and so identifying zero quantities is a long process. Again, an easy option for eBay to provide. So back to my question - Does anyone on eBay actually sell on eBay - You really need to use the platform you provide to see how behind it is falling in terms of usability. We ordered a multi gym and a stair ladder at the same time, and they were sent with the same courier. There should have been three parcels, but only 2 arrived but with completely different tracking numbers.The main frame of the multu gym arrived marked one of two, but the plate weights that had the same tracking number didn't. I've got both labels from the boxes, but unfortunately I opened an Item Not Received rather than one that doesn't match the description. The seller has since said that the third box would be delivered which it wasn't, and has now said that the courier told him that two boxes were delivered, and has since stopped communication, despite me having two separate tracking numbers as proof of delivery. Hi   Really bad instructions driving me mad    Im trying to stop my items being relisted AND having ebay automatically allow offers.   I have read all the threads pertaining to this and no one is giving correct instructions.   Some say......select "listing" in selling. Firstly there is NO tab saying listings.   Some say select Advanced - There is NO Adavanced option anywhere   A lot say go to Active and tick the box nxt to listing.......There is NO box next to any of my listing to tick.   im going mad here can anyone give exact and correct instructions.    Many thanks   John ...
