I can't see a way to change the duration on buy it now sales, all are only giving the good till cancellled option, anyone know how or where the option can be changed, it can't be changed when creating the listing.
Unfortunately it's no longer possible to set the duration that you want a Buy It Now listing to run for, as eBay ruined the Buy It Now format last year by removing the option to set the duration that you wanted the listing to run for, the end result being that all Buy It Now listing are, in effect, Good 'Til Cancelled listings.
If you want to be able to choose the duration of a listing then end the Buy It Now Good 'Til Cancelled Listing and relist the item as an Auction listing, making sure that you start the auction off at an amount that would ensure that you got the minimum amount that you wanted for the item once eBay and PayPal had both taken their cut of the price that the item sold for in the event that you only got one bid by the time the auction ended. That way if you receive a lot of bids you could potentially end up selling the item for more money than you expected to get for it, plus you also have the option of cutting the auction short in order to sell the item to the person who is currently the highest bidder at that point should you wish to do so.
not possible,
all fixed price listings are now good til cancelled,
you can end the listing at any time
Can't be done, that is what a BIN is now. You can end a listing Manually at any time however, so why not do it.
You only have one BIN, you do realise that Auction + BIN costs 50p and at the first bid the BIN disappears but you still pay 50p for nothing.
Instead of wasting money, use Best Offer, you don't have to accept any offers, but it is free and has some the benefits of a BIN in that it can end at any time you have an acceptable offer.
