What does it mean if your items say not eligible for promotional update

On my items I have listed for sale they say not eligible for promotional update. When I search by item description on the search box they don't come up with the other items for sale in that brand search, any ideas

Private sellers - who are people selling off their old no-longer-wanted possessions from wardrobe and attic - cannot use this feature. It is only available to business sellers. As that is what you appear to be, you need to upgrade your account as a matter of urgency, before you find yourself in deep doodoo with Ebay (for defrauding them of listing fees) and Trading Standards (for breaking the law).

Note that there is no such thing as a 'hobby seller' in this country, and how much or how you little you sell or make is totally irrelevant.

I presume It means you aren't entitled/eligible for free listing that eBay gives private sellers.

this is not you....you are an unregistered business seller, trading illegally on eBay, denying buyers of their legal rights and avoiding eBay of their fees.

being unregistered, a buyer can claim a refund within 13 months of purchase for any reason, and in any condition and you would be forced to pay return postage..

you need to upgrade your account prompto...

I would guess that it is something for Business Sellers.

As you are selling so many NEW items, you should be Registered as a Business Seller, otherwise you are selling illegally, defrauding ebay of Fees and denying buyers their legal rights.

It would be wise to register before ebay picks this up or you have a problem with Trading Standards.
