Vero policy.. Restricted account

Hi

Just looking for some advice..

My account has been restricted as they have removed a listing. It happened before when I was selling a demo clarins lipstick, so I thought oh well. They don't like demos being sold.

But I just listed a clarins cleanser I won't use, and it happened again.. I don't understand why it's not allowed, as 100s up for sale right now.

I'm shielding, stuck in, and now can't put time to good use by selling clothes, or other items I don't want. 😔

Any advice on why.. Why me, and why this item?

Thank you so much.. Take care every one.

You are selling lots of new cosmetics as a so called private seller, so looks suspicious that they are fakes.

Correctly upgrade to business account & you should be OK.

Business seller policy | eBay

You're not a private seller.  You're an unregistered business seller, trading illegally on a private account.  You need to upgrade your account from private to business as a matter of urgency, before you find yourself in deep doodoo with Ebay, HMRC and Trading Standards, and face permanent closure of your account (and all other accounts associated with you).

And you need permission from the brand owners to sell their products.  Many will not allow it, because fakes abound on Ebay, so don't be surprised if permission is denied.
