Unpaid item assistant

I sold a dress on 2.6.20 and the buyer hasn't paid.  When I use the drop down arrow for "report a problem" then "sold an item and haven't received payment" I enter the item number and it keeps coming up with the same message "Unpaid Item Assistant will open a case for this item on 10 Jun, 2020 if payment hasn't been recorded."  It is now the 10.6.20 so what do I need to do?  I don't have the automatic unpaid option on my account as you have to wait 32 days!  Any help would be appreciated.

32 days is the MAXIMUM time you have wait. You can start and set Unpaid Assistant to start a case after two days and it automatically closes 4 days later, selling fee is then refunded.

You must have selected Unpaid assistant and if so case will be started today at 20.45.

You would do far better to remove unpaid assistant and control things yourself as there can always be examples where Unpaid Assistant might open a case that you did not want if a buyer bought more than one item over a few days and you were combining postage.

You sold items between 19.53 & 20.11 on 2nd june,

so case should open within next 40 minutes, it is done on time not day.

It looks like you have inadvertently selected unpaid item assistant in your Site Preferences.  Check there ,  and de select that option if you wish.

You do not have to wait 32 days,  you select the days after 48 hours of non payment,  when you wish that unpaid item case to activate.

You do have it set, it can be for periods less than 32 days.  Check your settings.  Ebay time things to the hour so they should open it based on the sale time.
