This is for two pairs

I had a buyer make an offer on a single listed item. What I missed in the message section of the " This is for two pairs"

I didn't even see the message note as the listing was for 1 item.

I accepted the offer thinking it was only for the listed item  and sent it out.

When the parcel arrived the buyer insisted it was for two items even though the listing was for one !!

Yes I should have doubled checked the offer but sellers beware of this as the buyer insists I send the second pair and will report me to Ebay if I don't.

I'm going to honour it but I feel as if I've been fleeced. It's not the money but the principle of how a buyer can make an offer for an item but sneakily put in the message section , this is for two , maybe three or four !!!

Anyone else had this before ? Should I report it to EBay .

there is nothing you can be reported for,

an offer is made for the item on the listing, the buyer cannot make additional demands,

you sent what they bought

don't send them anything extra,

tell them they can return the purchased items for a full refund
