I know this is not the first thread on this subject but I don't know why I cannot reply to some of the others.
I sell items for many reasons. But some are for charity. I always use the EBay for charity scheme & do 100% ( so I bear the paypal as my donation) This year I was listing the poppy badges 100% for the British Legion as I too am livid about people selling blatantly & then making at best 10% donation. most just making money at the expense of ex services. But my listing has been blocked with the Ebay message
It looks like there's a problem with this listing.
OK & apparently no easy round even with 100% charity listing. So WHY & HOW have all the others got through. And what category to report on as prohibited goods doesn't have a further category that fits the bill.
Your account is not set up for charity-selling. Nor are you set up as a business seller, which you would need to be to sell brand new items. Private accounts are only for those selling off their old no-longer wanted possessions from wardrobe and attic. Click on Help & Contact at the top or foot of any page, and type 'selling for charity' or similar into the search box there, to find full information on this topic.
