Hi, I'm trying to understand how to promote my listings. I'm a private seller and have only recently (within last two weeks) been using eBay again after quite a break.
When I go the 'Marketing' tab in the Seller Hub, and then click on 'Promoted Listings' I'm taken to the page about how to become eligible for promoted listings https://pls.ebay.co.uk/plsweb/ineligible
My current seller level is 'Above Standard' so I'm struggling to understand why 'Promoted listings' isn't available to me. Is it because I need to be more active (sell more items) over a longer period of time before the option becomes available?
Grateful for any help. I've tried looking for the answers online and read through the eBay help pages on 'Promoted Listings' but haven't been able to find the answer.
Thanks

Have you read this and clicked on the "promote your listings".
I would have thought that before even thinking of doing this you should work out how many items you must sell to make it worth paying more that a 10% Selling Fee.
With low value items paying a higher selling fee seems hardly worth while. Whatever ebay says your items are hardly likely to sell any faster when there are the really big sellers in competition, who can and do swamp the market..
