Paypal on hold

Hi, yesterday paypal emailed saying that my acc has limitations due to being connected to an email address that had previous issues, how do i prove to them that its not me and this is my only account? I cant buy or sell while this is sorted 😞 is it possible to open another paypal or use my partner's account while mine is being sorted? They wont let me have my paypal balance either😢

Are you sure the email is from paypal?

if the email doesn`t mention you by name, it`s fake.

if the issue is genuine, then the best thing to do would be to ring them and sort it over the phone, but if your partner has an account, you could use it for payments untill then, but you`d need to change the payment address on your listings to that one, or you won`t get access to the funds untill the issue is sorted.

Whatever you do if the email is fake, do not click any links in that email and forward it to SPOOF@PAYPAL.COM
