Obscenely overpriced PS5s, photos of PS5s and pleas, why are these being allowed to be listed

This is clearly not right, but, why aren't ebay doing anything about it?? I don't see how people that have bought out a large number of PS5s for the sole purpose of taking advantage of desperate people by charging way over the odds for them can be allowed to happen. It is deplorable and criminal. How can it in anyway be considered fair. Ebay should be blocking and removing these scummy practices from their platform. The photos and plea notes are beyond ridiculous, equally, they should not even get past the preview stage. In other words why are ebay acting as a platform that facilitates scammers and unfair consumer practices????

Ask yourself this.

The ridiculous pricing and scams and misleading adverts has been given national coverage in the press and on TV.

Last week it was covered by the BBC .

And still people will go on Internet sites and pay huge sums for what may turn out to be just a photograph.

It's not down to web sites to remove these items from sale it's down to us as responsible adults to use some basic common sense.

The problem is, there is no law that stops someone from buying a £500 item and selling it for £1000, you can`t blame sellers for that, only the `fool and his money` that is happy to spend that amount 🙂

There are alot of dodgy listings though useing the PS5 and they should be removed, but if not enough people report them, then Ebay won`t do anything, because they are`nt aware of an issue, they can`t `police` millions of listings, they just can`t, that`s why every single listing carries a report button.

Have to say though and it`s a repeated message from us all on here, scams or rip-offs would`nt happen if people were`nt so gullable and greedy, because it seems at this time of year, `desperation` for that `must have` item just over-rules all common sense in folk 🙂
