Hi, I have bids on an item ending today, and want to add a bit more information.

any idea how to do it.

You can't edit an auction with bids, for obvious reasons: The bidders have bid based on the information in the listing. You can't move the goalposts, as you'll leave yourself open to a not-as-described case and negative feedback and low ratings. You will have to end the listing, and relist with the correct details. Ebay will charge you a selling fee based on the highest bid, though, as they don't like unhappy bidders.

Thanks. I thought you could add a note, rather than amend the description .

You can only add to the description, but no one will see it as it will be at the bottom of the page and any existing bidders will not know about any changes. To do this click edit. You may not even be able to do this in the last 12 hours.

If what you want to add is significant then you should end the listing and pay the fee, rather than have seller opening a not asdescribed case.
