Negative feedback

I sold an autographed photo, that was clearly listed as 6 x 4 inch in size.

Buyer received photo and immediately left negative feedback, stating photo was too small.

I contacted Ebay and they said they will not remove the negative feedback.

I have to ask myself......What else am I meant to do !!

I go out of my way for buyers, so I don't receive negative feedback and then you get one idiot and Ebay sides with them.

Unbelieveable !

In order to reduce the risk of that happening again, one thing that would be worth doing would be to include a photograph in the listing showing the shot with a ruler above or below it clearly showing the measurements from left to right, then include another shot of the photo with a ruler either on the left or right side of the photo to clearly show the vertical measurements of the shot.  If you were to do that with any future listings, and perhaps even revise your current listings to include a few shots of the photos with a ruler beside them showing the height and length of the photo, then it would be harder for a buyer to argue that the photograph received was not of the same dimensions as the one shown in the listing.  If you did receive negative feedback from the buyer with regards to the dimensions of the shots then contact eBay Customer Services to ask for the negative feedback to be removed, making sure that you refer the eBay representative to the listing, stating "I've included photos in the listing which clearly show how big the photo is", as if you were to do that then you may well stand a better chance of eBay deciding the matter in your favour and removing the buyer's negative feedback if this ever happened to you again in the future.

Finally, if you have not already done so, add this buyer's User ID to your Blocked Bidders List so that he/she cannot purchase anything else from you in the future and cause you any further problems.
