My daughter is new to eBay and has been told she can only list 10 items for the first month.

Does the month start from the first listing?

Does she have to sell and receive feedback for the restriction of ten to be increased?

Is there an option for me to create a second account for her to use?

Any help will be appreciated as I have tried to look this up myself without avail.

Does it start from the first listing? logic says yes. otherwise not listing for a month and you would be a member for one month but it does not prove that you are a good seller.

Newsellers have to prove by receiving good feedback that they sell, honour the sales and that buyers are happy. This process cannot be speeded up, as only time and experience show how well a seller performs. Until 10 feedback have been received for selling then the DSRs (The stars) show which say more about a sellers performance than feedback on its own.

A member can have more than one account, but the same rules apply and if any mistakes occur through getting confused on one account  BOTH accounts would be shut down.

Keep it simple, learn as she goes along then any errors will not be serious, once past the initial listing period then the limits are gardually increased until they become virtually unlimited.

At thebottom of the page in the middle Seller Centre will give much information. Using Help & Contact and entering the subject will then give loads of information There is a lot to learn, I have been a member since 2002 and am still learning.
