If you used Royal Mail package/parcels option, the posting receipts will have a 16 digit reference number which when entered into the transaction is accepted by eBay as 'scanned on doorstep' delivery confirmation.

i am under the 21 day ebay funds hold, i recently sent out some stuff without tracking numbers. Will i still get my money?
Yes, of course, after 21 days (unless the buyer is unhappy for some reason and opens a case). That's what the 21-day hold means, as explained in the payment confirmation email you received ffrom PayPal. You only need tracking if you want to get the payment hold lifted earlier than 21 days.
