Missing item..

I seemed to have messed up in my replies etc to my original topic, Im not sure how to use the forum etc.

I have one final question for your help with. What should I  do now? Have the buyer escalate the matter with ebay and wait for their input, or give a refund. To recap....I  have a pontificate on ebay  on my despatched items that this one has been delivered, although the buyer claims that it hasn't been received. Not sure if I  would get a refund from RM if their records show that its delivered. Is a refund possible for either me or the seller from ebay or paypal?

Btw I  am just inquiring at this stage so that I  know which action to take next.

Many thanks for any help.

Hi,

I sold an item.... have COP and a notification on ebay that it has been delivered. The buyer emailed me stating that they had received an email from Royal Mail that the item was delivered. They claimed they were in all day and they have not received it.

Never having experienced this before but wanting to help ..... I  dont  know the protocol/ procedure to sort this out.

I did suggest she check with her neighbours...around her house .....and speak with her postman. The packaging was a very noticeable  bright purple plastic envelope and might  have been memorable......but to no avail.

Can anyone advise please?

From my point of view I  don't  know this buyer. I have a COP and notification that the item has been delivered. Unfortunately I  can't seem to contact ebay ATM and I dont know what the correct way to resolve this.

Many thanks

Eric

To the best of my knowledge ....Nothing in the 3bay help sections seem to deal with these particular set of circumstances .

Small packet/parcel COP will have a 16 digit reference number which when entered into the transaction and confirms 'doorstep delivery' on scanning will be accepted by eBay as having been received >>>
