Item marked collected and paid but still showing as unpaid

Buyer collected item and paid cash.  I marked it as paid and collected and left positive feedback but there is still an overhanging request on the listing saying it is unpaid and they will remind the buyer to pay.  There are no options left for me.  Buyer is a little nervous.  Any help please?  Anything buyer can do? Thanks.

Hi...........I had a similar problem when i collected an item a while back.

Ask the buyer if they can also mark the item as payment made.

They should try going to their home my Ebay page

They may also be able to mark the item as payment made  (this is how i stopped my notifications to pay) 

Maybe its an Ebay glitch at the minute.....if you have gone to More Actions to the right of your sold item and marked it as payment received and despatched this should have stopped the buyer receiving notifications to pay 😞

I, too collected an item and paid cash 22/04/22. The seller has marked the item as payment received. Ebay gives me the option to 'unmark as payment sent', so ebay knows it's been paid.

Yet ebay still shows it in the 'unpaid items list'. Cyber schizophrenia in action.

Even better, the seller can't leave feedback because ebay didn't give me a collection number to give the seller on collection. I speculate that  that's because ebay's "unpaid item" crazy personality has overridden the sane personality.
