I've still got it and I want to try to sell it again.
How can I see the listing of a year ago?
The only way you can see any unsold listings that you listed on eBay over ninety days ago is if you save the shots of the item on your computer or laptop and do the same with the original item description. That way if the item doesn't sell and you decide to relist it at a later date when it has long since vanished off of eBay's servers you can then just use the same photos and item description to set up a new listing for the item.
If you use a presaved template for each type of item that you are selling then you can make the relisting process a whole lot faster than it would have otherwise been if you did not have a presaved template available for that type of item. If you've got a presaved template available then you won't have to fill in all the Item Specifics fields again, as everything saved on the original listing, including the shots and the item description, will have been automatically saved and will carry over to the new listing. Therefore, delete any shots from the original template and replace them with the shots of the item that you are relisting now, then delete the original item description and replace it with the item description that relates to the item being relisted.
As the Item Specifics fields will automatically carry across from the presaved template, check that everything is as it should be. You can update things manually if necessary - for example, if the postage costs have increased and you need to update them - so if you do need to update anything then save the relisted advert as the presaved template so that any updates to the Item Specifics will carry across with the template to be used on the next listing.
If you're not already doing it try using the Advanced Selling Form, as it will make listing and relisting far easier than if you were just using the bog standard form. In addition to that, listings created using the Advanced Selling Form don't tend to be prone to eBay butting in and altering various aspects of the listings without the seller's consent, unlike those created using the bog standard selling form. You can have as many different templates as you want for all of the various different types of item that you may wish to sell, so make the most of them as they will save you a lot of time in the long run, including when it comes to relisting items for sale that have been lost from eBay's database.
