Is anyone else having issues with the accept offer key when trying to accept an offer?

I and a friend have tried to accept offers in the past few days, but when you try to click in the box it has the highlight around it, but doesn't do nything else.

What tobias said. Bids can be placed right up until an offer is accepted. And once a bid is placed, MAO is no longer an option.
But if that isn't what's causing this, what browser are you using...? If IE, it's no longer compatible with Ebay or any other website. I use Firefox, others are happy with Chrome or Edge.
Or if you're using the glitchy app, ditch it for desktop.
