I sold an item of clothing in perfect condition but the buyer claims it is badly stained

Firstly the buyer requested £20 for cleaning the item, then after i said no becasue the item was perfect condition and after 3 more days they are now asking for a refund.  If the item is damaged then the seller has done it, so not only will i have lost £140, the item will be unsellable.  I have asked for Ebay help but they say to accept the return and then appeal when it arrives.

I seems that the rules only protect the buyer and are very unfair.  Any advice would be welcome.

At the end of the day eBay have to abide by UK law which states a item description must match the item sold.

And if a buyer says the item is not as described then you have no option but to send your buyer a prepaid label to return the item to you.

On receipt you must refund your buyer in full.

If there is a dispute with the returned item you should speak to eBay.

You should add the buyer to your blocked bidder list as well.
