I'm a private seller and I've been charged £6+ for listing fees, thought it was free  ? I haven't done anything different this month so why ?

I had a shock when my bill came, some time ago, and it was because I'd listed each item for three days only.  Other than this if you haven't accepted any offers on selling it is expensive now.

Only basic listing is free. All sales, and any listing extras you choose to add, are charged for. That has always been the case, and is how Ebay makes enough money to remain in business.

Click on the invoice to see each itemised charge. That will tell you exactly what each charge is for.

Not sure why your bill has come as a surprise to you, though.  Ebay's fees are clearly set out in the Seller Centre and in the Help pages.  Plus, you are told what the fees will be for each individual listing before you hit the 'Submit with above £fees' button.

Looks like you Sold 7 Items in November. Is Not Free to Sell on here. EBay Charge a 10% Fee on the Sale and Postage. PayPal also Charge a Processing Fee of 2.9% + 30p.

You can Check your Seller Invoice from the Account Drop Down Tab under Seller Account.
