I have found a hole in something I am selling

    I am selling an item of clothing. It has a few bids and is due to end on Friday. I have found a small hole near the pocket. One of the bidders is happy to buy it but I want to offer a lower price. How can I do this. Someone else has bid more. I have contacted them but they haven't replied. Am I best cancelling the auction early

Don't take risks.

End the listing, then decide if it's worth relisting.

Best to end.There is no way to sell to an underbidder at a price less than they have bid.

Alternatively cancel the winning bid and then end early selling to highest bidder. You cannot change the bid price but you could reduce the postage or do post free, and send a revised invoice before buyer pays.

I will wait to see if highest bidder replies. If I end the auction early or cancel it would I have to pay fees if I wanted to relist it with amendments
