I don't want ebay managing my payments from sales. They will hold the money for 2 working days.

Why are e-bay going to withold my money after i have sold something?  With PayPal it was available immediately.  

I can't send the item out if i haven't received the money!  

PayPal works well for me.  I can see all the payments in one place and it's kept separate from my other sales.

It would seem that they have found another way to make more money from a sale....and without handing it over when received.

Any advice on how i can still use PayPal for my e-bay sales please?

MATE I GET THAT, PERIOD. EBAY TAKE ENOUGH OF MY PIECE OF PIE , BUT FOR A CO THAT MAKES OVER 150 MILLION IN INTEREST IN 1 BUISSNESS DAY,,, FUNNILY ENOUGH. I am cynical in that change is never beneficial to the recipient and I am - thankfully - not involved in these payments but it does seem that funds will be deposited to your bank "daily as soon as funds are available".  

I am not sure why you cannot send items out "if you have not received the money" if it is guaranteed by eBay. 

I think that if you do not want to be in the managed payments then as a business seller there is no option to remain on eBay.

Looks like you are right about leaving e-bay.
But I still can't understand why it will take them 2 business days to free up the money after the order has been placed. Fortunately dispatch time should cover their delay in releasing the funds to me but with PayPal it's instant.

It says 'within' so two days is the expected maximum, not how long it will usually take. I would expect same day payment as with most PayPal payments.

Thank you for the message. I expect you are right. I just wish e-bay would be more transparent with their own business decisions that affect us and ask us how we would like to manage our own money and sales.

Hi I have reported eBay to BBC watchdog as they seem to be trying to make you do things that you do not want to do. You should be in charge of how you pay not them. If you do not take up this way of them managing your payments they stop you from selling it is blackmail. I will never use a bank account on eBay and I only will ever use PayPal.
