hi im trying to list an electric kitchen knife but ebay have took it off i dont understand why as there are hundreds for sale on the site

is it because i have put postage with royal mail do any other couriers do this kind of item

Just because you see something listed here, doesn't mean it can be sold here. It just means that those sellers haven't been reported or caught yet. There's no way Ebay can check the many millions of items which are listed on their sites every day, which is why there's a 'Report' button on every listing, for ebayers to use when they stumble across those which break the rules or the law in some way. 

Ebay also supplies full information on what can and can't be listed here, in the Seller Centre, and in the Help and Policies pages.  Links to all of these are displayed at the foot of any page. 🙂

Thank you for your help and advice hun. Just couldn't get my head around it. I certainly understand from what ebay wrote to me regarding the rules and the list of knives I couldn't sell ie samurai swords. Zombie swords.whatever they are and flick knives but the stop a kitchen electric knife seems abit to far.but spose if they are the rules those are the rules. Will have to think of another way now
