Hello, customer has bought an item and has paid me by bank transfer instead of Paypal

As I had a short term issue with paypal. How do I mark the item as paid for please? Alyson

Use the 'More actions' dropdown beside the transaction. You'll see there the option to 'Mark as paid'. 

If you don't see it, that will likely be because you're using the app. You'll need to ditch it for desktop.

By the way, if this was a collection item, you should always accept payment only in cash or by bank transfer, once the buyer has fully examined the item and is happy with it. PayPal is not safe for sellers of collection items (no proof of dispatch to the buyer's address, the only thing PayPal, and every payment processor, will accept from you to contest an Unauthorised Account Use claim).

Thank you very much I’ll try that. I normally use paypal and from now on can stick to that. Thanks for your help.

If you go to your All Selling page and then look at the Sold Items section locate the item in question and click on the £ icon.  This should then change from greyed out, meaning unpaid, to black, which means that payment has been received.
