Ebay Shop Subscription But Limited To 100 Listings

Have just signed up and subscirbed to the £19.99 a month to have an ebay shop which when advertised included upto 1,000 free listings.

Have got my shop but I am not being allowed to list more than the 100 items so I have subscribed to pay £19.99 for nothing more than just having a shop page? 

Anyone know why I have not got my 1,000 free listings allowance?

You have only been a member for about three weeks with virtually no selling track record.

All new sellers are restricted until they have built up a record of successful selling, there is no way of getting round this except by time and selling.

Thank you both for replying and john1297576 that sounds like the reason for the 100 listings limit.
Wasn't made very clear because it still shows as me having the 1,000 listings promotion but if that's the rules then it is totally understandable.

subscribing to a shop doesn't overide your listing allowance,

private sellers can list UP TO 1000 items for free, but if your listing allowance is 100 items that is all you can list

So there wasn't much point in me subscribing to have a shop then really?
When I looked at the options before subscribing it stated 1000 listing allowance otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered subscribing

there is very little point in a private seller subscribing to a shop as you get up to 1000 free listings with or without a shop


if you are buying to sell then you need to upgrade to a business, this is completely separate to a shop subscription
