Does anybody understand eBay? I've had a buyer **bleep** and whine that the item I sent was in poor condition, something I object to as that is not the case. I questioned if the package was damaged, they said not but sent photos of their purchase which frankly looked like it had been run over by a tractor. I offered to pay return postage, followed by the remainder of the cost of the items (in this case shoes). They then decided they had just noticed that they were the wrong size. So, puzzled, ask are they implying wrong size was sent - I'm not in the habit of buying the same shoe in multiple sizes - or did they contact the wrong seller? Insisted they were the wrong item, in poor condition and wanted their money back or would file a case and leave poor feedback. Yeah, I know, the old I'll leave negative feedback if you don't comply threat. Again offered return post cost, etc, if they would confirm that was acceptable. Grudgingly agreed, presumed they wouldn't get any money back without eBay lending a hand but would send the item back so I could see for myself what I'd sent. I already know what I sent, and it aint what they photographed! Postage sent, return request closed. Them possibly feeling smug, me definitely feeling glum. Today I log on and see feedback from said bither and whiner not just positive but postively glowing! Is anybody else confused by how other buyers and/or sellers behave?

Fairly obvious you haven't a clue, you need to read about Feedback Extortion. Buyers threatening negative feedback, can be reported. They don't need to threaten, they can get a refund easily just by following the rules.
