By mistake I sent 2 invoices to a buyer, one with reduced postage and one without. Apparently the buyer doesn't have the option to pay the cheaper one.
I have sent a third invoice in the hope that it's the most recent that they can pay. Is there any other way I could have done this other than refund the excess postage via Paypal? Yet another learning curve for me as a seller.
The last one should overwrite any previous ones.
As far as I am aware there should be no problem paying the invoice with the lower postage. If you are allowed to send then buyer can pay.
How are they going about this? If they are clicking on Pay Now then if there are two invoices then not sure which one comes up. If they go to your lower invoice in their emails or messages, they should be able to pay.
Ebay always send an invoice so any invoice sent by a seller will be a second invoice and that never presents a problem.
If the invoices you sent, it was the cheapest sent first, then no doubt it would effectively be cancelled by te next one, so with luck your 3rd invoice should be ok.
